These were really fun and turned out great. We discussed the art of stained glass windows and abstract art. The students were required to include a border, one circle and one half circle. Then they divided the paper using straight lines. They could create an asymmetrical or symmetrical design. They traced all pencil lines with black crayon and painted each shape with watercolors. They were required not to paint the same color in adjacent shapes.
